Dulles, Virginia
1757 Golf Club is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable **Golf Instructor** to join our team. The Golf Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality golf instruction to members and guests of all skill levels while supporting the overall golf operations at the Club.
This position focuses on creating an engaging learning environment, helping players improve their skills, and contributing to the growth of instructional programming including private lessons, clinics, camps, and group instruction. **Compensation includes a base hourly rate plus lesson income.**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide private and group golf instruction for players of all ages and skill levels.
- Develop and lead instructional programs such as clinics, junior camps, and beginner golf programs.
- Create personalized lesson plans designed to help students improve their technique, strategy, and overall enjoyment of the game.
- Utilize video analysis, training aids, and modern instructional techniques to enhance the learning experience.
- Promote and grow the Club’s instructional programs through member engagement and guest interaction.
- Assist with junior golf development initiatives and youth programming.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming teaching environment on the practice facilities.
- Collaborate with the Golf Operations team to support club events, member activities, and tournaments when needed.
- Represent 1757 Golf Club in a professional manner while delivering exceptional service to members and guests.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience providing golf instruction preferred.
- PGA Associate or PGA Professional status preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of golf fundamentals, swing mechanics, and instructional techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and helping players improve their game.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
**Work Environment**
- Instruction primarily takes place on the Club’s practice facilities including the driving range, short game areas, and golf course.
- Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and peak golf season hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
