Overview Camaraderie Clubs, a management company started by the Co-Founder and former CEO of Travis Mathew, is looking to redefine the landscape of Country Club Membership for the next generation of Club Member. We own two premier club properties: Spanish Hills Club and The Huntington Club. It’s an exciting time to join our clubs and we are currently seeking a 1st Assistant Golf Professional to join our team at Spanish Hills Club. Job Summary The 1st Assistant Golf Professional is entrusted with assisting the Director of Golf in the planning and executing member golf events at the club. He also assists the Director of Golf in the execution of outside Monday golf tournaments. Experience Required Qualifications Include: Experience in golf instruction with a working knowledge of the golf swing. Proficient in software systems required for proper execution of above duties (Excel, Word, Golf Genius Software) Maintain PGA Membership or actively working through the PGA Management Program. Familiar with preparing the golf course for play in accordance with the rules of golf. Valid driver’s license. Essential Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities: Partner with the Director of Golf to develop, plan, organize, and execute all member golf events at The Huntington Club. Assist in the planning and execution of all Major men’s events. Ladies Day: Plan and execute weekly games. Supervise collection and distribution of all fees. Communicate with Director of Golf for planning of major ladies’ events. Assist in the planning and execution of Major ladies’ events. Sunday Couples: Plan and execute weekly games. Supervise collection and distribution of all fees. Communicate with Director of Golf for planning of major couple’s events. Assist in the planning and execution of Major couple’s events. Partner with the Director of Golf to plan, organize, and execute all outside Monday golf events at The Huntington Club. Meet with tournament organizers and assist in planning event. Confirm proper scheduling for every Monday event Confirm equipment and supplies on hand (carts, paper, printer ink, on course contest supplies, et al.) Provide training, direction, scheduling, and management of the golf course concierge position at the club. Provide professional golf instruction. Represent The Huntington Club in a positive and professional manner including attitude, appearance, and speech. Maintain effective employee and public relations. Meet or exceed external and internal customer expectations. Execute golf shop operations including running the 1st tee, tee sheet, manage pace of play, merchandise sales, proper charging in POS system and accuracy of charges, and managing outside service team. Provide weekly reports for all areas listed above to the Director of Golf. The 1st Assistant Golf Professional will be required to execute other duties not listed above as assigned by the Director of Golf.
