Golf Course Player Assistant - Summer Seasonal

The Town of Breckenridge Golf Operations Division is seeking dedicated and customer service oriented individuals for the position of Player Assistant. Individuals in this position are responsible for controlling the speed of play on the golf course and/or starting the golfer from the first hole(s), assisting the public during their round of golf, and responsible for minor golf course maintenance.For additional information regarding this position including important roles, essential job functions and duties, knowledge, skills and abilities required, materials and equipment used, working environment, and physical activity required, please view the position description.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Must have knowledge of golf operations, etiquette, and rules. Must have the ability to interact with the public in a positive and professional manner, work in a fast paced environment, work as a team member. Must be available to work from late May through September. Must be able to work a minimum of three shifts per week. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSES/EXPERIENCE: College degree preferred. Two or more years of customer service experience preferred. Ability to handle difficult situations with tact. Golf industry work experience preferred.WORK SCHEDULE This position is Summer Seasonal; Full or Part Time with a minimum of three shifts per week. There is an emphasis on working weekends. Must be available to work from late May through September. Must be able to work shifts including mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, holidays, and up to 40 hours per week or as needed at the discretion of management. This position is 'Open Until Filled'.
