Duties
Deliver engaging golf instruction tailored to players’ skill levels, from beginners to advanced enthusiasts
Provide clinics on golf course etiquette, safety, course rules and responsability
Organize and oversee golf tournaments, clinics, and special events to promote active participation
Provide expert advice on golf techniques, equipment, and course strategies to improve player performance
Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment by enforcing course rules and promoting proper etiquette
Assist with the operation of the pro shop, including sales of equipment and apparel
Offer guidance on fitness and conditioning programs related to golf performance, integrating elements of sports coaching and physical education
Support the overall management of the golf course by ensuring cleanliness, safety standards, and excellent customer service
Requirements
Proven experience as a Golf Professional or in a similar role within a sports or recreation setting
Strong background in teaching sports such as tennis, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, judo, karate, swimming or martial arts; experience with childcare or working with children is a plus
Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive learning environments
Lifeguard experience or certifications are advantageous for safety oversight during outdoor activities
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of students and clients of all ages
Enthusiasm for promoting health and fitness through sports coaching and physical education activities
Certification or training in sports coaching or related disciplines preferred
