Golf Course Superintendent

As a Golf Course Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the golf course to ensure the highest standards of quality and playability.

You will manage a team of groundskeepers, technicians, and other staff to maintain the course's turf, landscaping, and irrigation systems. Your duties will include developing and implementing turf management programs, scheduling maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Additionally, you will be in charge of budgeting, ordering equipment and supplies, and coordinating with golf course mangement to meet the needs of players. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agronomy, irrigation, and pest management practices specific to golf course maintenance.

Additionally, you will be in charge of hiring, training, and scheduling maintenance staff.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf course management, a deep understanding of agronomy, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or related field

- Experience in golf course maintenance management

- Strong knowledge of turfgrass maintenance practices and irrigation systems

- Experience in budget management and staff supervision

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve

- Knowledge of pest and weed control strategies

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
