Comfort Stations Supervisor — Troubadour Golf & Field Club
This is a full-time, hourly role located at Troubadour Golf & Field Club, set outside of Nashville, Tennessee. Must be available to work opening and closing shifts, weekends & holidays. Starting pay is $21-$23 per hour.
Troubadour Golf & Field Club is a premier golf course community bringing outdoor activities and neighbors together. As the Comfort Station Supervisor you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Comfort Station operations and staff, working closely with the Comfort Station Manager to develop programming that brings the membership together. You will represent the Food and Beverage team with professionalism and a service-first approach.
You'll be expected to handle inventory and product ordering, train and manage staff, and maintain high levels of quality and control. Managing labor cost, beverage cost, and operating costs and keeping them in line with budgets will be part of the role. Independent work and positive engagement with members during club-wide tournaments and celebrations is essential. You will share member feedback with the wider team and conduct inventory counts of all Comfort Station items. Assisting with execution and development of training for Comfort Station Attendants and ensuring all job expectations are understood are important duties. Provide an exceptional level of service for all members and guests during the comfort station experience.
Make sure all comfort stations comply with sanitation and safety regulations at all times, report maintenance problems or safety issues promptly, and take a proactive approach to communication with the kitchen and outside vendors so products are not unavailable. Ensure daily set-up and break down is consistent and in line with SOP’s.
Minimum of 2-4 years in the guest services industry/Food and Beverage and 1 year of previous management/supervisor experience are required. Work experience in a high-end club, hotel or resort, with Forbes standards is preferred but not required. Active TABC, bartending and serving experience are listed. Good judgment and decision making, polished verbal and written communication (fluent in English), computer skills and working knowledge of all major software, excellent training skills, a detail orientation and the ability to maintain a surgical clean work environment are all required. Recruitment of staff, designing effective schedules and coaching performance are expected tasks. The role requires strong customer service orientation and unquestioned hospitality skills.
Education: 4-year college degree preferred, but a combination of education and relevant position training and experience will be considered.
Physical and scheduling requirements include: must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs; available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays; able to walk and stand for prolonged periods and work in all weather conditions; this position requires physical labor such as bending, stooping, walking, and reaching; this position will require the ability to drive a golf cart.
