Golf Course Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a Groundskeeper to join our golf course maintenance team. In this role some of the responsibilities are: Perform general golf course maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging Maintain landscape beds around the clubhouse grounds Plant and maintain trees, flowers and ornamental plantings Repair ball marks and fill divots on playing surfaces Rake and maintain bunkers and practice areas Assist with sod installation and turf repair Operate small turf equipment including blowers, weed eaters, utility vehicles, and walk-behind mowers Maintain and clean equipment used on the golf course Remove debris and maintain cleanliness of cart areas, parking lots, and walkways Assist with aerification and other cultural practices Support the golf course maintenance team with additional tasks as assigned by the superintendent The ideal candidate is a hard worker with a desire for growth. Understanding the game of golf and/or experience in landscaping is a plus. Must be available for weekends and holidays in season. Must be an early riser, the daily work schedule starts as early as 6:00am . Must be flexible and willing to work outside during adverse weather. *Job includes golfing privileges Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Work Location: In person
