Head Golf Professional

Our client, a prestigious golf club situated in the heart of Denver, Colorado, US , is looking for an experienced and charismatic Head Golf Professional to lead their golf operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the golf facility, including managing the golf shop, directing golf instruction, coordinating tournaments and events, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all members and guests. The Head Golf Professional will be a key ambassador for the club, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Key responsibilities include managing inventory and merchandising for the golf shop, developing and delivering high-quality golf lessons and clinics for players of all skill levels, organizing and executing successful tournaments and member events, supervising and mentoring golf staff, and maintaining positive relationships with members and the local golf community. The ideal candidate possesses a PGA or LPGA certification, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in golf operations, including significant experience in a Head Professional or Assistant Professional role. A proven track record in golf instruction, retail management, and event planning is essential. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are paramount. Knowledge of golf course operations and proficiency with golf management software (e.g., Jonas, ForeTees) are required.
