Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated Greenskeeper to maintain and care for our golf course.
The role involves a variety of tasks related to grass, plant, and turf management, ensuring the golf course is kept at the highest possible standard.
Ideal candidates should possess a keen eye for detail, experience in greenskeeping or landscaping, and a genuine passion for outdoor work.
The purpose of being a Greenskeeper is to ensure that our golf course provides a beautiful and challenging environment for players.
Responsibilities
Maintain the health and appearance of the golf course, including fairways, greens, and tee groundsOperate specialized turf maintenance equipmentApply fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals responsibly and in accordance with safety proceduresPerform aeration, seeding, and other turf improvement activitiesRepair turf damaged by weather or golfersAssist in the construction of new greens, tees, and fairwaysMaintain irrigation system and ensure proper watering of golf courseRemoval of debris and litter from the golf coursePerform routine equipment maintenanceAdhere to safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications
Previous experience in greenskeeping or landscaping preferredKnowledge of turf management and golf course maintenanceAbility to operate maintenance equipment and machineryKnowledge of safety and environmental regulationsPhysical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditionsHigh School diploma or equivalentWork Environment: Outdoor setting with exposure to various weather conditions. Requires physical labor and operation of machinery.Reporting Structure: Reports to the Golf Course DIrector .Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Working Conditions
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Exposure to inclement weather, varying temperatures, and environmental conditions is common. Work schedule may include weekends, evenings, and holidays depending on seasonal operations and special events.
