Banquet Bartender & Bar Steward

Daytime bar stewards and bartenders needed, with additional shifts at night and weekends available.

The Country Club of Louisiana is looking to expand our daytime/part time catering & banquet event bartender & Bar Steward team. We are seeking experienced individuals to provide top-tier service to our members and guests. Our banquet bartenders are responsible for providing food and drink service at our special functions such as weddings, corporate dinners/luncheons, holiday parties, and other social and corporate gatherings.

To be a successful banquet staff member, you should possess excellent customer service, a willingness to learn, and strive to be a team player. As we move into our busy season, we are looking to expand our team of motivated, efficient, and service-oriented staff members.

Job Types: Daytime Banquet Bartender/Bar Steward

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and setting bars for the week Greet and respond to guests requests in a courteous and professional manner Serve event food and beverage as directed by supervisor Occasionally clear dishware from tables/bars to ensure a cleanly environment Attends pre-shift meetings to allow for a clear understanding of the event timeline Completion of any side work before end of shift

Special Requirements:

Previous restaurant and/or bar experience Adherence to dress code and grooming standard Access to reliable transportation Customer service skills The ability to work in a team environment Professional and personable demeanor. Excellent communication skills The ability to handle multiple functions simultaneously Food and Beverage service knowledge

Physical Functions:

Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and/or controls. Reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities include close vision, vision sufficient enough to read, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs. Independent mobility through clubhouse.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
