Job Description
Supervise maintenance staff and assist in all aspects of golf course maintenance. Responsible for training employees and assist in daily planning and scheduling. Fertilizer and chemical applications and record keeping. Irrigation programming, repairs and recording daily water usage.
Education
Preferred minimum of two-year turfgrass certificate. Pesticide license preferred or ability to acquire within 180 days of employment.
Experience Preferred
Preferable experience with bentgrass greens. A basic knowledge of all aspects of golf course maintenance including irrigation repairs, golf course set up and ability to operate all maintenance equipment.
Personal Expectations
Self motivated. Attention to detail and able to complete tasks. Positive attitude with ability to lead maintenance staff. Dependable, punctual and hard working.
Job Benefits
Salary $50,000 to $65,000. Paid vacation and sick time. Christmas bonus. Golf and pool privileges for self and family.
