Job Summary:
The Pool Snack Bar Cook position is a seasonal, ( May-August) hourly position working in an up-scale, member-only, quick-service pool snack bar serving burgers, wraps, salads and sandwiches. Prepare, cook and assemble food according to OHCC standards. Shifts available: 9:00a to 4:00p and 12:30p to 8:30p daily.
Job Duties:
Consistently maintains high standards of quality, eye appeal and flavor of foodsTakes inventory of all items required for station set-up and determine those items that require preparationFollows all safety procedures for operating and cleaning machineryComplies with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsPromotes an attitude of teamwork by assisting coworkersWorks as directed to support the mission and values of Oakland Hills Country ClubJob Competencies:
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cookAbility to be flexible and self-motivatedStrong communication skillsMust be available to work weekends and holidaysShifts available: 9:00a to 4:00p and 12:30 to 8:30p daily.What we provide our team members:

Work will generally be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments. Outdoor temperatures can range from 50F to 100+F during summer months, and there will be exposure to noises and sustained elements. Working schedule is generally up to 40 hours per week, with some holidays and weekends required. Must have the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as required. General standing, walking, lifting, pushing and pulling movements are required.
