Elkins Lake, a community country club in Huntsville, TX, is seeking an experienced golf course maintenance person. Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations Knowledge and understanding of typical golf course maintenance and care techniques.Ability to operate and maintain maintenance equipment safely.Applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides under supervision, ensuring safe handling and compliance with regulations.Changing hole locations, moving tee markers, adjusting cart traffic markers, filling divots, repairing ball marks, and maintaining golf ball washers .Mowing greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and native areas; raking bunkers; trimming trees and shrubs; hand-watering turf areas; and edging cart paths and curbsPhysical Demands and Work Environment Ÿ Sufficient stamina to tolerate hot, cold, humid, and rainy outdoor weather for several consecutive hours. Ÿ Able to meet and perform physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position. Ÿ Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling. Ÿ Frequent repetitive motions. Ÿ Continuous standing and walking.
