PGA Senior Assistant Professional

Exmoor Country Club is seeking an ambitious, motivated, and service-oriented PGA Senior Assistant Golf Professional to join our team during an exciting chapter in the Club's history.

Founded in 1896, Exmoor is a Distinguished Club located on Chicago's historic North Shore, one of the premier private club and golf markets in the United States. Rich in tradition and committed to excellence, Exmoor is preparing for a significant golf course renovation led by renowned architect Andrew Green in 2027 .

We are looking for a future leader in golf hospitality who is passionate about the game, values meaningful relationships, and aspires to advance into a Head Golf Professional, Director of Golf, or other leadership position within the private club industry.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will work closely with Head Golf Professional and our professional staff, gaining valuable experience in all facets of a premier private club golf operation.

During the 2027 renovation, our team will be responsible for managing an extensive reciprocal golf and member travel program , maintaining strong relationships with neighboring clubs, and developing creative opportunities to deliver exceptional value to our membership while the golf course is closed.

Exmoor's driving range and short game facilities will remain available, allowing us to continue offering junior golf, private instruction, clinics, and additional member programming.

Following the renovation, the Senior Assistant will play an important role in reopening the golf course and delivering the next chapter of the Exmoor golf experience.

This unique opportunity will provide meaningful exposure to operational leadership, member engagement, strategic planning, and the management of a premier golf facility during a transformational period.
