Job Description The Minnehaha Country Club in South Dakota is celebrating our 121st year of operations, and we are currently seeking team-oriented restaurant cooks with passion for food to join our team. Minnehaha Country Club operates two full-service, year-round restaurants, as well as a robust on-site catering/events operation. We currently have opportunities for elevated dining cooks to work primarily evening shifts; these positions are available immediately for the successful candidates. Minnehaha Country Club is Sioux Falls’ premier country club, operates year-round and serves membership of approximately 720 families. The Club features an immaculate championship 18-hole golf course and one of the finest restaurants in the region, as well as swimming, tennis, and fitness amenities.
Our elevated dining cook will report to the elevated dining sous chef and well cook for primarily evening a la carte service, assist in prepping the kitchen and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Casual dining cooks are full-time and have a starting wage of $18.00 - $22.00 based on skills and experience.

Prepares all food from menu using standard recipes in accordance with club standards; Sets-up, maintains and breaks-down cook station.
Ensures that work area and equipment are clean and sanitary.
Adheres to local and state health and food safety standards.
High School diploma or GED.
Prior prep/cooking experience in a professional kitchen required; resort or private club experience is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Maintains the highest food safety standards.
Helps in other areas of the kitchen during slow periods or when necessary.
This is a typical professional kitchen work environment, which may be hot, humid, and noisy.
