This position plays a key role in creating memorable dining experiences while maintaining the high service standards expected at Coldstream Country Club. Primary Responsibilities Member & Guest Service Greet and acknowledge members and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.Provide attentive and personalized service throughout the dining experience.Learn members' names and preferences to enhance the club experience.Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.Ensure member and guest satisfaction through consistent follow-up and attention to detail.Food & Beverage Service Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, daily features, wine selections, and beverage offerings.Make recommendations and answer questions regarding menu items and beverage pairings.Accurately take food and beverage orders.Communicate special requests and dietary restrictions to the culinary team.Serve food and beverages according to established club service standards.Properly time courses to ensure a seamless dining experience.Present dessert, coffee, and after-dinner beverage options.Verify accuracy of all member checks and billing information.Dining Room & Event Operations Complete opening, side work, and closing duties as assigned.Set up and maintain service stations and dining areas.Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently.Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout dining rooms, patios, and service areas.Assist with banquet functions, member events, golf outings, and special club events as needed.Support event setup and breakdown activities.Teamwork & Professionalism Attend pre-shift meetings and training sessions.Work collaboratively with culinary, banquet, and service teams.Adhere to all club policies, service standards, and safety procedures.Follow all local and state regulations regarding the responsible service of alcoholic beverages.Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Qualifications Previous restaurant, private club, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.Professional appearance and demeanor.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled.Must meet all legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages in Ohio.Ohio Alcohol Seller-Server Certification preferred.Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and maneuver throughout dining and event spaces.Ability to work both indoors and outdoors during seasonal club events.About Coldstream Country Club Founded in 1959, Coldstream Country Club is one of Cincinnati's most respected private clubs, offering championship golf, racquet sports, aquatics, dining, and a vibrant social calendar.
