Bag Room Attendant
Job Summary of Bag Room Attendant:
This position is responsible for maintaining the golf cart fleet, driving range, and assisting with guest equipment, all while ensuring exceptional service for members and guests. This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for working in a customer-facing environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Bag Room Attendant:
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Perform opening procedures for the Bag Room and Cart Barn.
• Assist guests by removing golf bags from vehicles and transporting them to the bag racks.
• Clean golf clubs and carts daily, and perform light mechanical work on carts.
• Set up for daily member play, including regular tee times, groups, and outings.
• Check in and out guest golf equipment and clean guest or rental clubs.
• Ensure a fresh supply of clean towels and filled divot sand holders are available.
• Support and implement all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Qualifications and Experience of Bag Room Attendant:
• Knowledge of the game of golf is preferred.
• Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be customer-oriented with a focus on providing excellent service.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Working Conditions:
• Regularly required to reach with arms and hands.
• Frequently required to walk, stand, talk, hear, handle, and operate objects.
• Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
• The noise level is moderately quiet.
• Must be able to work extended hours during golf and holiday seasons, including weekends and holidays.
