About the position
This role involves assisting with the scheduling, assignment of duties, and evaluations of golf course maintenance personnel. The position requires assisting with planning and scheduling of daily and weekly work and project assignments, inspecting the golf course to identify areas needing attention, and ensuring all areas are free of debris. The supervisor will direct and participate in the maintenance of the golf course and assigned areas, and assist with training programs for equipment operators focusing on safety, accuracy, quality, and maintenance. Daily irrigation adjustments and record-keeping are also key responsibilities, as is maintaining chemical records and adhering to safety regulations. The role also includes providing excellent customer service reflecting the company culture (S.T.A.R.) and reporting any violations of internal controls or state regulations related to gaming activity.
Responsibilities
Assist with scheduling, assignment of duties, and evaluations of golf course maintenance personnel.Assist with planning and scheduling of daily and weekly work and project assignments.Inspect golf course and assigned areas to identify areas that may need attention and ensure all areas are free of debris and trash.Direct and participate in the maintenance of the golf course and assigned areas.Assist with training programs for equipment operators that emphasize safety, accuracy, quality of workmanship, and maintenance of equipment.Assist irrigation adjustments daily.Complete the Daily Irrigation Sheet; record irrigation repair information in the Irrigation Notebook.Maintain chemical records and adhere to safety regulations pertaining to the storage and application of chemicals.Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.Requirements
Knowledge of agronomy and turf grass management practices.High school education or equivalent.Excellent oral and written communications skills.Knowledge of current federal, state and local laws and regulations affecting the management of golf course operations.Nice-to-haves
Able to operate a tractor and other various machines such as dozers and bobcats.
