Outside Operations Attendant

Description Job Purpose: The outside operations attendant will maintain day to day golf operation at his/her specific facility and work cooperatively with other departments. The position will promote an exceptional “golf experience” and provide excellent services and programs to all our customers. Duties: Maintain effective working relationships with other employees, management, and all members of the publicAdherence to the established policies and procedures of the MGASAAssist with all golf services and operations of their course/sTrack and verify that all players and guests register and facilitate proper controlsMeet, greet, and welcome prospective customersAdherence to all rules and regulations governing golf course usageInitiate and implement safety regulations and proceduresKeep all golf cars orderly, clean, and stocked with pencils, scorecards, sand bottles, etcAssist each customer with golf bags and locating the golf car assignmentEnsure driving range is clean and orderly with range balls stockedOperate the picker to mechanically retrieve golf balls on driving rangeKeep radios open to stay in communication with the pro shopMaintain clean, neat, and orderly staging areas and cart storage areasAssist pro shop with set-up, staging of golf cars, clean up, and any other issues related to tournamentsInform pro shop of any golf cars that are in need of repairFollow proper golf car maintenance procedures and record keepingMonitor and communicate to the pro shop improper golf etiquette, excessive drinking, excessive number of individuals riding in a golf car, non-golfing guests playing, and golf cars being driven in a reckless mannerDeliver any lost items to the pro shop to be recorded in the Communication Log BookCheck and fill ball washers and water coolersRefill empty sand bottles as neededCheck and restock on course restrooms if necessaryReturn empty range baskets to the pro shopEmpty course trash receptacles if necessaryPatrol the perimeter of the range to return wayward range balls to the range before pickingOther duties as assigned Requirements Skills/Qualifications: Must have a valid state issued Driver's License Ability to work with others (Teamwork) Available to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays Ability to drive a golf car Excellent customer service skills Ability to multitask Positive attitude Golf knowledge preferred, but not required
