Assistant Golf Professional Country Club in Bowling Green, Kentucky is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional. Position Overview: The Assistant Golf Professional will assist the membership and Head Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day golf operations of the facility. The position is responsible to supervise and manage the total golf operations in the absence of the Head Golf Professional. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all. Specific areas of responsibility: • Junior Golf • Club Repair/Club Fitting • Outside Services • Player Development • Tournament Operations • Merchandising • Golf Instruction Requirements Experience Required • Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules, facility operations and tournament operations • Fundamental supervisory practices and principles • Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills • Service and customer focused attitude • Remain up-to-date on customer relationship management tactics and strategies • Experienced computer user including; Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficient in other applications, i.e. email, internet, Golf Genius and POS systems • Attend conferences, workshops, meetings, and trade shows to stay updated on industry trends • Maintain a credible golf game and remain current on teaching innovations Compensation $36,000.00 per year.
