Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented Counter & General Staff to join our team. As a vital part of our Holey Mackerel Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently managing transactions and sports equipment. This role is perfect for individuals who are engaging and love people! Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries. * Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system. * Maintain a clean and organized counter area to ensure a welcoming environment. * Process sales efficiently * Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving any issues promptly. * Opening and Closing cash drawers, and cleaning facilities as needed. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall customer experience. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus. * Ability to demonstrate products confidently and effectively. * A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
