Foxfire Country Club is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Equipment Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and inventory management of all golf course maintenance equipment supporting our 27-hole private golf facility.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to build and lead a first-class equipment maintenance operation with significant potential for growth and long-term impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a fleet consisting primarily of John Deere equipment while leading and working alongside two dedicated Assistant Equipment Technicians who are eager to learn, develop professionally, and embrace new ideas and best practices.
Foxfire has demonstrated a strong commitment to its maintenance operation through continued investment in personnel, equipment, and facilities, including the construction of a modern maintenance facility completed in 2021. The Equipment Manager will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents to help shape the future of the department, improve efficiencies, and establish standards that support exceptional golf course conditions.

Experience Requirements • Previous experience as an Equipment Manager, Equipment Technician, Golf Course Mechanic, or similar role.
• Experience maintaining golf course maintenance equipment; John Deere experience is highly preferred. Educational Requirements • Undergraduate college study in turf agronomy or golf course maintenance desirable.
• Administrative and executive ability, especially critical in problem-solving and decision-making.
