About the Role
About Ximu Youth Golf Academy
Ximu Youth Golf Academy provides youth golf programming through school enrichment classes, summer programs, junior clinics and on-course instruction. We work with students ranging from preschool age through middle school, with a focus on creating a safe, fun and structured introduction to golf.
Our programs are designed to make golf accessible for kids while helping them build confidence, coordination, focus, and real golf fundamentals. We currently work with multiple schools throughout the Glendale, Pasadena, South Pasadena, and surrounding areas, and we are looking to bring on additional instructors for summer and fall programming.
Position Overview
We are looking for reliable, energetic, and patient youth golf instructors to assist with school-based enrichment programs, summer sessions, and beginner junior golf classes.
This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with kids, understands basic golf fundamentals, and can help create a safe and positive learning environment. Prior coaching experience is helpful, but the most important qualities are reliability, strong communication, patience, and the ability to manage kids in an organized way.
Instructors may assist with stations, setup, safety, student management, basic golf instruction, and cleanup. Stronger candidates may have the opportunity to lead small groups or run sessions independently after training.
There is also an opportunity this fall for a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with 10 guaranteed hours per week for the right instructor.
Responsibilities
Assist with youth golf classes at schools, camps, and junior clinics.
Help with setup and breakdown of golf equipment, stations, mats, nets, targets, and training tools.
Support students with basic golf fundamentals including putting, chipping, grip, stance, posture, and swing movement.
Maintain a safe and organized class environment.
Help manage groups of young students, especially preschool, TK, Kindergarten, and elementary-age children.
Follow Ximu’s safety procedures and class structure.
Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and other instructors when needed.
Represent Ximu Youth Golf Academy in a positive and professional way.

Background check, Live Scan, and school-required clearances may be required depending on the program site.
Ideal Candidate The ideal instructor is someone who enjoys working with kids and can bring a positive attitude to every class. You do not need to be a professional golfer, but you should understand the basics of the game and be comfortable helping young students learn in a simple, encouraging way.
We are especially interested in candidates who are responsible, good with children, coachable, and able to help keep classes safe and organized.
