Heritage Bay Golf & Country Club is seeking an accomplished, relationship-driven Clubhouse Manager to partner with the General Manager/COO and an experienced senior leadership team in leading a dynamic, member-focused private community operation. Established in 2006, Heritage Bay Golf & Country Club is a member-owned private club located within one of North Naples' premier bundled golf communities. CLUBHOUSE MANAGER – POSITION OVERVIEW
The Clubhouse Manager reports directly to the General Manager/COO and serves as a key member of the senior leadership team. This leader is responsible for the overall clubhouse operation, providing strategic and operational leadership for dining services, banquet and private events, catering, front-of-house operations, and clubhouse administration. Working collaboratively with department leaders, the Clubhouse Manager ensures exceptional service delivery, operational consistency, fiscal accountability, and an outstanding member experience across all clubhouse activities.
A highly visible, approachable, and relationship-oriented leadership style is essential. The Clubhouse Manager is expected to be an active presence throughout the Club, building credibility with members while empowering department leaders and staff to deliver consistently exceptional hospitality. This role fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement, ensuring that every aspect of the clubhouse operation reflects Heritage Bay's commitment to service excellence.
Working in close partnership with the General Manager/COO, the Clubhouse Manager serves as both a strategic thought partner and operational leader, balancing day-to-day execution with long-term planning and organizational objectives. Success in this role requires sound business judgment, strong financial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to identify opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen team performance, and continually elevate the member experience.
INITIAL PRIORITIES OF THE NEW CLUBHOUSE MANAGER
Build trusted relationships with the General Manager/COO, senior leadership team, members, and staff while gaining a thorough understanding of Heritage Bay's culture, operational philosophy, and service expectations.Maintain a highly visible presence throughout the clubhouse to foster genuine member engagement and reinforce a culture of hospitality, responsiveness, and personalized service.Evaluate clubhouse operations, service standards, staffing structure, and operational processes to identify opportunities that enhance consistency, efficiency, and the overall member experience.Develop and inspire department leaders and staff by serving as a positive, visible mentor who promotes accountability, strengthens communication, recognizes and celebrates performance, and fosters a collaborative, team-oriented culture that empowers individuals to grow and succeed.Partner with the General Manager/COO and senior leadership team to support strategic initiatives, exercise sound financial stewardship, and continually enhance clubhouse operations in alignment with the Club's long-term vision.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated success in a Clubhouse Manager, Assistant Clubhouse Manager, or comparable senior hospitality leadership role within a private club or similar hospitality environment.Private club experience is strongly preferred, with a thorough understanding of member expectations, service standards, and club governance. Experience within a bundled club community is highly desirable.A visible, approachable, and relationship-driven leader with a proven ability to build trust, inspire teams, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.Demonstrated success leading complex clubhouse operations while maintaining exceptional service standards, operational consistency, sound financial discipline, and a strong focus on the member experienceStrong business acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and achieving operational and financial objectives.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish credibility and build productive relationships with members, volunteers, peers, and staff at all levels.Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing teams while creating an environment that promotes employee engagement, professional growth, and accountability.Highly organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while continuously identifying opportunities to improve operations and elevate the member experience.Professional presence, sound judgment, unquestioned integrity, and a genuine passion for hospitality, leadership, and service excellence.
EDUCATIONAL AND CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a focus on Hospitality Management.Substantial private club or hospitality experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.Industry certifications such as CCM and CAM are encouraged but not required.
