The Irrigation Technician monitors and waters Golf course on daily basis. He/she also repairs and maintains any and all pipes and sprinklers on the golf course. With supervision, he/she works on diverse range of activities involved in irrigation maintenance and construction, does semi-skilled irrigation construction and maintenance work, and performs related tasks as required. Performs periodic general maintenance on irrigation systems within assigned areas. Cleans and adjusts sprinkler heads to ensure proper function and coverage and replaces or repairs broken equipment. Basic maintenance and repair on irrigation satellites is a bonus. Ability to track and repair simple wire breaks and replace soleniods.
The Irrigation Technician is a integral part of our daily team, and is expected to assist in regular course maintenance, including but not limited to course set up and mowing. He/she is expected to handle special irrigation projects such as newly installed sod and manual overhead / hand watering areas that need irrigation repair.
