Peddie Golf Club, located in Hightstown, NJ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Position Summary
The Greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.
Position Responsibilities
Performs ground maintenance tasks: mow greens, tees, fairways and roughs
Operate weed-eaters, and blowers
Edge and trim and rake bunkers
Move golf holes and tee markers
Plant trees and shrubs, maintain flower beds, weed control, and leaf removal
Fertilizes, prunes trees and shrubs; cut, roll, lay and water sod; install, and maintain sand bunkers
Operate fairway mowers, greens mowers, tee mowers and rough mowers
Trash/litter removal
Other duties to be assigned
Available weekends and holidays a plus
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be dependable
Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
Working knowledge of golf operations is preferred
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
Working Conditions
The employee is regularly required to walk, stand, reach with hands and arms, and sit. The employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly be required to lift up to 10 pounds.
Work may extend to weekends and holidays
