Dishwasher

About the position The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas in accordance with the Club’s operational and health department standards. This position plays a critical role in supporting kitchen operations by ensuring that all culinary and service equipment is properly cleaned, organized, and available for service. Responsibilities Operate the dishwashing machine and associated equipment safely and efficientlyWash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipmentMaintain proper organization and storage of clean dishes and equipmentEnsure dishwashing and kitchen areas remain clean, safe, and organized throughout the shiftAssist with removal of trash and recycling in accordance with kitchen proceduresSweep and mop kitchen floors as required to maintain a safe working environmentMaintain adequate supplies of cleaning chemicals and dishwashing materialsAssist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and support tasks as directedSupport banquet, event, and club-wide functions as assignedAdhere to all Club policies, procedures, and sanitation standardsRequirements Prior dishwashing or kitchen support experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environmentUnderstanding of basic sanitation and cleanliness standardsStrong work ethic and reliabilityAbility to work as part of a team in a professional kitchen environmentAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to work in hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen conditionsNice-to-haves High School Diploma preferred.
