Golf course Mechanic

Job Summary

Keep golf course equipment ready for reliable, safe operation. As a Golf Course Mechanic, you’ll inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mowers, utility vehicles, small engines, generators, and other mechanical systems. You’ll use hand and power tools, schematics, and diagnostic methods to identify issues and complete repairs. The role involves manual handling and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

Perform equipment maintenance, vehicle maintenance, small engine maintenance, and engine repair.Diagnose and repair diesel engines, automotive systems, electrical systems, and power generation systems, including generators.Troubleshoot equipment faults using schematics and electrical diagnostics; complete mechanical systems repair, electrical work, soldering, and welding as appropriate.Use hand tools and power tools safely, and support equipment repair while following safe manual-handling practices.Your impact: Timely, dependable repairs help course teams keep essential equipment available for daily course operations.Experience

Mechanic or service technician experience, with practical mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair.Experience with electrical diagnostics, electrical work, diesel engine repair, automotive repair, or generator repair is relevant.Ability to perform hands-on work, including heavy lifting and manual handling, is required.Pay: $29.00 - $33.91 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 50.0 per week
