The Golf Club at Lansdowne, located in Lansdowne, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Pay Range: $12.77- $15.00 per hour Key Responsibilities: Assists the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professionals with the daily management of golf operationsAssists with golfer check-in and fee collection; controls and manages play; reconciles daily tee sheetsAssists in administering all point-of-sale (POS) application revisions and needs as they apply to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billingPromotes all club golf activitiesAssists with maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shopAssists with maintaining proper records and billing for storage and lockers for membersAssists golf professionals during tournaments and weekly gamesMonitors all members' scores, reports handicaps to the USGA, and bills members accordinglyFollows established opening and closing proceduresIncorporates safe work practices in job performancePerforms other duties as requiredExperience and Education Requirements: Exceptional customer service skillsPrevious golf course and/or retail experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentSome college or a college degree preferred; or equivalent experienceAdditional Requirements: Availability on weekdays, weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings Reliable attendance with strong customer service skills and a positive personality Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms: Healthcare Benefits - Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement)Retirement Benefits - 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.
