About the Role
San Antonio Country Club — founded in 1904 and one of the founding members of the Texas Golf Association — is seeking a PGA Golf Professional to serve as our Assistant Golf Professional and Tournament Operations Coordinator. A century-old course that has welcomed Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, and Tiger Woods is completing a full Brian Silva redesign (new TifEagle greens, TifTuf fairways, and redesigned bunkers) and reopens for play this fall. It's an exciting time to join our team.

What you'll do
Manage and promote all MGA and WGA events in partnership with leadershipOwn tournament day-of operations end to end: planning, pre-tournament contracts, billing, promotion, course setup, scoring, prizes, and follow-upLeverage Golf Genius software to elevate the tournament experiencePlan and execute all junior golf tournamentsTeach lessons and support junior golf programmingContribute to daily golf operations, including starting, golf shop operations, and opening/closing proceduresUphold and model professional standards across the operations staffMaintain a high level of play in your own game
What we're looking for
PGA Class A Certified Professional (preferred)Extensive, hands-on knowledge of Golf GeniusExperience with ForeTees tee time and registration; JONAS POS a plusMicrosoft Office proficiencyStrong organizational and communication skills with a member-first mindset
What we offer
PGA dues paid100% of lesson revenue$1,000 annual clothing allowance$1,000 annual education/travel allowance$1,000 year-end bonus (after 12 months of employment)
Schedule: Typically a 5-day, 40–50 hour work week. Certain weeks (holiday weekends, tournament weeks) may require a 6th day. Assigned golf shop time is kept to a minimum (1–2 shifts per week)
