Line Cook
Elmira Country Club is seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing operation focused on quality, consistency, and creating a great experience for our members and guests.
Position Overview The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items to the club’s standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role works closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to deliver a consistent, high-quality product.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with prep work, inventory, and daily kitchen tasks
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
Qualifications
Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Team-oriented mindset
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
