Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000

Stoney Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole semi private facility located in Stoney Creek, NC, located between Greensboro and Burlington. The 18-hole Tom Jackson design offers six sets of tees, ranging from 4,600 yards to over 7,000 and is par 71. The golf course, with its variety and versatility, has proven to be enjoyable for men and women golfers of all ages and skill levels.

The North Carolina Golf Panel voted the facility into its illustrious Top 100 list, as well as being named the #2 hidden gem in the Triad area. The facility is home to the Weaver Learning Center which is one of the best practice facilities complete short game area. The center is anchored by a covered teaching center allowing for the ultimate experience in golf instruction.

Position Summary

The Director for Stoney Creek is responsible for the management and performance of all aspects of the Club, including, but not limited to, total golf operations and services, club tournaments and outings, restaurant operations, membership and administration. The position will promote an exceptional “golf experience” and provide excellent services and programs for all members and guests.

The position requires a friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to professionally interact and communicate with ownership group, management team, members and guests. He/she will work closely with golf Course Superintendent to ensure the highest quality of course and practice facility playing conditions.

The Director of Golf will work closely with and directly report to the Regional VP of Operations for Pinnacle Golf Properties with an open line of communication to the entire Executive Team to provide guidance, resources and achievements regarding the policies and goals of the club.

Qualifications

PGA Class A Member in good standingStrong interpersonal, communication and leadership skillsProven record of providing outstanding servicePrefer experience in private or semi-private clubsExcellent computer skillsKnowledge and usage of social media avenues to promote facility, membership, golf course, etc.Technologically proficient as well as highly organized and detailedExceptional Verbal and Written CommunicationsPositive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations

Work Experience Required

Minimum 5-years experience as Head Golf Professional

Educations, Knowledge And Training

College degree required
