We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Retail Golf Equipment Sales Associate at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Utilize in-depth knowledge and understanding of golf equipment and technology to assist customers in finding the right products for their needs. Maintain a thorough understanding of current and upcoming product offerings in order to make informed recommendations to customers. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in golf equipment technology. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the golf equipment department. Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and use of point-of-sale systems. Continuously meet and exceed sales goals and targets set by management. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and positive shopping experience for customers. Attend training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers to resolve any issues or concerns. Demonstrate a strong passion for the game of golf and a desire to help others improve their skills. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols. Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and receiving new merchandise. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and provide feedback to management. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Take initiative to learn and develop new skills and knowledge related to the job.
