The Banquet Server is responsible for creating an exceptional experience for members and guests by providing food and beverage services, including serving alcoholic beverages. The ideal candidate is well-organized with strong communication skills, able to cope well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests and promptly record all transactions in the POS system.
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the entire food menu, including allergens and options for guests with dietary restrictions.
Provide excellent service by greeting members and guests by name.
Consistently comply with state, local, and club laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol
Ensure adequate supplies and stock are maintained in the server station
Follow and complete opening and closing checklists for assigned areas, including daily and weekly cleaning duties.
Report comments or complaints to a manager on duty as they occur.
Maintain and clean equipment, keep all areas clean and organized.
Any and all other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Basic knowledge of liquors, beer, and wine
Available to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Attention to detail, including excellent memory for names and faces.
Punctual and professional in manner and appearance.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Previous serving experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly wage is $22.00.
