The Opportunity

Western Hills Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic, service-oriented, and career-driven Assistant Golf Professional to join its golf operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring golf industry leader to develop their professional skill set, contribute to a high-quality member experience, and build a strong foundation for future advancement into a Head Golf Professional or Director of Golf position.

The ideal candidate is a motivated PGA or LPGA Professional who combines a passion for the game with a genuine commitment to hospitality, member engagement, instruction, and team development. This individual will play an important role in daily golf operations while helping lead and grow the club’s junior golf programming, with a particular emphasis on the Operation 36 development model.

About the Role

The Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and the golf operations team to deliver an exceptional experience for members and their guests. Responsibilities will include supporting daily golf operations, assisting with tournaments and member events, providing golf instruction, and helping develop programming that strengthens member engagement and participation.

A primary area of responsibility will be the planning, delivery, and continued development of the club’s junior golf program. Experience with Operation 36, or a demonstrated ability to implement and grow a structured junior development program, will be especially valuable.

This position is intended for a professional who wants more than a seasonal or operational role. The successful candidate will be encouraged to take ownership, develop business and leadership skills, and gain the experience necessary to advance into a senior golf leadership position.
