About the Role
<p>Job Description for Assistant Golf Professional for North Ridge CC:</p>
<ul>
<li>The ideal candidate will be both energetic and outgoing in personality. This person will need to be highly motivated, able to take direction, and be a self-starter. Primary responsibilities will be but not limited to:</li>
</ul>
<ol>
<li>Assist the Director of Golf with a large, extremely active programming schedule.</li>
<li>Professional staff liaison to the Ladies Golf Association. Responsibilities include Ladies Golf scheduling, running tournaments for LGA, signups for LGA tournaments,LGA budgeting, LGA marketing and promoting, as well as meeting with Director of Golf to ensure successfulLGA program.</li>
</ol>

<ul>
<li>Assist Head Professional with any LGA, SGA, CGA, MGA, or member tournament responsibilities.</li>
<li>Assists in general club repair duties.</li>
<li>Assist in merchandise receiving and processing as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain routine duties associated with GHIN Handicap Computers. Assist with general Golf instruction, clinics and programs.</li>
<li>Responsible for all returns and credits and follow up with members.</li>
<li>Perform general golf instruction, clinics and programs.</li>
<li>Assist members with proper fitting of clubs and equipment including launch monitor.</li>
<li>Assist members on course with pace of play issues.</li>
<li>Counter operations and assist members as needed.</li>
</ul>

<h2>QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE</h2>
<ul>
<li>Ability to teach golf beginners and to advise more advanced players how to improve their skills.</li>
<li>Practical knowledge of golf equipment and repair and general knowledge of golf course operations and maintenance.</li>
<li>Knowledge of USGA Rules of Golf and how to apply them.</li>
<li>Good interpersonal and communications skills.</li>
<li>Member in good standing of the PGA of America.</li>
<li>Adept player able to represent the Club in both Member play as well as tournaments</li>
<li>PGM or College Graduate preferred</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>COMPENSTATION</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Base salary of $39K to $42K based on experience.</li>
<li>Lesson revenue between $5K and $15K through Clinic and Private</li>
