About the Role
Job Summary: Provides exceptional, courteous, and rapid service to the guests on the golf course and acts as an on-course concierge, providing information about the course and the Tahoe area.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Arrives to work in uniform and ready to work on the floor by the time scheduled.
• Greets members and guests in a friendly and welcoming manner and maintains a warm and friendly interactive service atmosphere.
• Reports to and receives instruction from the supervisor regarding daily events, section map, daily cleaning assignments, etc.
• Drive the beverage cart around the golf course, making stops at each hole to serve golfers.
• Keep the beverage cart stocked with food, beverages, and supplies, and maintain an inventory of items sold.
• Provide excellent customer service and address member/guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Takes orders directly from guests for food and beverages and serves using proper etiquette.
• Greet guest by name whenever possible.
• Pre-busses, buses, and resets tables.
• Knows regular menu and special menu items, descriptions, and pricing for the day.
• Performs all side work and set up duties for each meal period.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of special events and functions.
• Follow all club policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
• Reports any complaints or problems directly to the service manager or director.
• Responsible for having own adequate change or bank a the beginning of each shift.
• Balances own sales report and assigned cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Prepares sales envelope with daily sales at end of day, turn into reporting manager.
Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks, not specifically addressed above.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Education/Experience: Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of golf and golf etiquette preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Language/Communication: Ability to read and speak English is required to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English). Must be able to work as part of a team and maintain open communication with managers and fellow coworkers. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests or members of the community. Must display professional demeanors and always communicate in professional language.
Certificates/Licenses/Safety Training: State accredited Alcohol Training thru RBS, SERVsafe Certification, Harassment Prevention Training, Workplace Violence Prevention, Heat Illness Prevention and all other required onboarding checklists, orientations, and policy acknowledgements must be completed within in first 30 days of hire.
