We are seeking a dynamic and high-energy Director of Racquets to lead and elevate the racquets program at The Seagate Golf Club. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional member experience while driving participation, engagement, and revenue across tennis, pickleball, and padel. The ideal candidate is both a skilled instructor and a strategic leader who can build innovative programming, create energy within the club, and develop a best-in-class racquets experience aligned with The Seagate’s standards.
What You Do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive racquets program across tennis, pickleball, and padel
Create and manage a full calendar of clinics, leagues, tournaments, social events, and member programming
Deliver a high-touch, hospitality-driven experience that enhances member satisfaction and retention
Actively engage with members on and off the court to build relationships and foster community
Drive lessons, clinic, and event revenue through strategic programming and pricing
Maximize court utilization and identify opportunities to grow participation across all racquet sports
Collaborate with club leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
Recruit, train, and lead a team of racquets professionals and support staff
Foster a culture of accountability, energy, and exceptional service within the department
Oversee daily operations including scheduling, payroll, and staff management
Ensure all courts and racquets facilities are maintained to the highest standards
Partner with other departments to execute seamless events and cross-functional programming
Oversee racquets, retail offerings and merchandising
Stay current on industry trends to continuously evolve programming and member offerings
Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Table:
Current Tennis Certification (USPTA Professional/Elite or PTR required)
Pickleball Certification (PPR) preferred
Padel Certification (USPA or equivalent) preferred
Proven experience growing racquets programs and driving revenue
Experience in a private club, resort, or luxury hospitality environment strongly preferred
Strong leadership, team building, and staff development skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a member-first mindset
High-energy, visible, and engaging presence on and off the court
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance programming, operations, and financial performance
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Passion for racquet sports and delivering elevated, best-in-class experiences
