About the position
Under supervision from the Golf Operation Superintendent responsible for the sales of pro shop merchandise, collection of fees, registration of players and assigning tee times to golfers.
Responsibilities
Assist Golf Operations Superintendent and Assistant Golf Professionals with managing all aspects of the golf operationAssist in the coordination and implementation of tournaments and outingsCollect all money for green fee, cart fee, pass fees, range, and merchandise, issuing receipts for all transactionsEnsures proper registration of golfers, correctProvides and interprets golf policies, rules and regulationsMaintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop and clubhouse areasRemain courteous with all customers at all timesWork as a team player with co-workers in conjunction with the deli and cart staff as neededFollows directives and completes assignments with a minimum of supervisionAnswer telephone in a professional and courteous mannerPerforms all work according to established proceduresRequirements
High school diploma or equivalentValid Texas Drivers License is required.A minimum of six months experience as a cashier or sales clerkGeneral knowledge of the game of golfPresent a positive, professional imageMust be self-motivated and customer service orientedStrong interpersonal as well as written and oral communication skillsReliable attendance
