About the Role
The Summit Club is among the most exclusive private golf clubs in the country, and our Agronomy Department is held to that same standard of excellence. We are seeking an experienced Equipment Manager to help elevate our department to the next level, contributing both technical expertise and strategic input as we invest in our facility and team.
Position Overview
The Equipment Manager will play a significant role in the planned redesign of our equipment shop and maintenance yard. While final decisions will be made collaboratively with club leadership, this individual's professional input on layout, workflow, storage, and safety standards will be a key factor in shaping the outcome.
In addition, the Equipment Manager will be responsible for building out the technician team, including the recruitment, hiring, and development of two mechanics. One position will begin with preventative maintenance responsibilities, including oil changes and routine equipment servicing, with a structured path toward more advanced repair work and mower reel maintenance under the Equipment Manager's mentorship. The second position requires a candidate with established experience in a golf course equipment shop, capable of contributing immediately to daily operations.
