About the Role
Cart Attendant Reports to:Head Golf Professional or Assistant Golf Professional Education and or Experience:High school diploma or GED Golf experience or knowledge preferred Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations Knowledge of a Private Golf Club operations helpful Able to handle multiple tasks, assignments, and pressure at all times.Must follow all health and safety guidelines when working.Knowledge and ability to perform required roles and tasks as listed below.Job Summary The Golf Cart Attendant works all golf and golf-related activities of the club.Core golf operations, including golf tee times and reservations, un-loading and loading golf bags, managing the tee sheet for the day, etc.The Cart Attendant's job is to serve our golfers and help enhance their golfing experience, by providing them extraordinary service in the parking lot upon arrival, staging area, on the driving range, and upon request of members.Cart Attendants report to the Assistant Golf Professional.Job Tasks/Duties Know Waterfall Clubs Core Values and abide by employment rules in Waterfall Club Handbook.Arrive to work in the proper uniform with your name tag; look and act professional.Keep the golf cars orderly, clean, and with pencils, scorecards, tees, etc., at all times.Clean carts are washed, dried, and all compartments are free of debris.Assist each member or customer with their golf bag immediately upon their arrival.Never let them load it or carry it if you can; run to the bag drop or their car if you have to.Ensure the driving range has enough range balls and is always clean and orderly; at the end of the day, leave it clean, picked, and ready for the next day.Divots sanded on tee boxes and fairways of holes 1 & 18, and the driving range.Ball marks fixed periodically throughout the day on those holes.Put the carts away clean, orderly, and ready for the next day.Insure on course trash receptacles are empty and sand bottle racks are full at end of the day.Maintain clean, neat, and orderly bag and cart storage areas.Inform the pro shop of any cars that are broken or in need of repair.Secure all golf carts before leaving.Dead carts or broken carts need to be secured in the cart barn.Follow the proper golf car maintenance procedures and record keeping.Understanding team goals and work to improve current customer service.Record keeping for team goals is essential for every team member to complete.Thursday's:Make sure all company vehicles are washed and vacuumed for the weekend.Put in designated areas.Follow closing procedures making sure that the Athletic Center is secured, all lights and TVs turned off.The overhead garage door should be secured with chain and the exit door with the deadbolt.Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to keep composure during periods of high volume Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist or reach.Push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs.Continuous repetitive motions.Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.Pay:$11.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location:In person.
