Overview Beechmont Country Club is seeking a dynamic "rising star" Food & Beverage Manager. The ideal candidate must possess a record of growth and success in F&B operations and a demonstrated willingness and ability to deliver a 5-star dining experience in a premier golf and country club setting. The successful candidate will work with our Director of F&B and other F&B Managers in executing a strategic plan that will elevate the overall member and guest experience and mentor employees to achieve their best. Key Responsibilities Manages daily Front of House F&B outlet or banquet operationsSupervises and develops associates in the Front of House F&B departmentConducts training and refresher classes for Front of House F&B personnel in the correct proceduresProvides daily oversight of Front of House F&B accounting proceduresMaintains cost controls and assists in conducting a monthly inventoryManages alcohol and beverage ordering; follows the PO buying processOversees quality assurance, guest service, and employee trainingUpholds Beechmont Food and Beverage policiesEnsures member and guest satisfactionEnsures employees conduct themselves in a professional mannerPerforms a daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulationsComplies with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other local and state lawsManages closing procedures and appropriate billing practicesInspects and assists with banquet setup and breakdown of tables, decorations, equipment, serving areas, and related activities in an accurate and timely mannerEnsures satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions, or special requests; assisting banquet staff throughout the event as needed (refilling drinks, delivering food, bussing tables, etc.); and following up with the host at the conclusion of the eventEducation and Experience College degree preferredPrior experience in F&B club environment preferredKnowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor lawsPrior food and beverage/à la carte and banquet service experienceHighly organized, efficient, and detail-orientedExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsStrong customer/guest orientationWorking Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and armsThe employee is often required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controlsThe employee will occasionally be required to balance, stoop, twist upper body, kneel, and climbThe employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionallySpecific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perceptionModerate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, chemicals, pesticides, gasoline, vibration, pollen, dust, mechanical hazards, and electrical hazardsNoise level is typically moderate to loudMust work extended hours during the golf and holiday seasonMust work weekends and holidaysReports To The Food & Beverage Manager reports to both the Director of Food & Beverage and the Director of Food and Beverage Service.
