Responsibilities Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and irrigation systems to keep the course in excellent conditionPerform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy turf and plant lifeMaintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and prevent water wastageConduct regular inspections of the course for hazards or damage, performing necessary repairs or reporting issues promptlyUse hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, trimming, and debris removal while adhering to safety protocolsAssist with pesticide management by applying treatments responsibly to control pests and weeds in accordance with regulationsSupport heavy lifting activities involving soil, mulch, or equipment to facilitate landscaping projectsSkills Proficiency in irrigation system operation and troubleshootingExperience with athletic field groundskeeping and landscape maintenance techniquesSkilled in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools including chainsaws and trimmersKnowledge of pesticide management practices aligned with safety standardsAbility to operate company vehicles and groundskeeping equipment safely and efficientlyStrong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety during heavy lifting tasksFamiliarity with lawn care, gardening practices, and general landscaping principlesUnderstanding of power tool safety procedures and equipment maintenance protocolsThis role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment where your efforts directly impact the quality of the golf course experience.
