Racquet Assistant Job SummaryAssist Racquet Professional with all racquet activities including lessons and clinics. Perform daily preparation and maintenance of racquet courts and area. Occasionally fill in and play when a scheduled player is absent. Pay: $20 per hour, based on experience Education and/or ExperienceFamiliarity with racquet court surface preparationFamiliarity with the games and rules of racquet sportsJob Tasks/DutiesAssist Racquet Professional with on-court lessons/clinics and eventsSweep and maintain courts dailyMaintains court coolers, ice chest and racquet shoe cleanersPuts chairs/tables in neat orderReplenishes supplies such as ice, towels and cupsPerforms any additional tasks needed to keep racquet courts and surrounding areas in good orderEnsures proper quantity and quality of towels at all times and takes dirty towels to the laundryPerforms other appropriate tasks assigned by the Racquet ProfessionalAbility to build relationships and contribute to the success of the Racquet programShift and SchedulePart-time8am-12 noonOccasional weekendsPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Continuous standing, walking, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing and squattingFrequent lifting and moving of objects This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:DependablePeople-orientedAdaptable/flexible
