Cleaning and Maintenance Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning and Maintenance Worker to keep our facilities spotless, safe, and well-maintained. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance Carry out custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window washing, and restocking supplies to ensure a hygienic environment Assist with residential painting projects or minor repairs to enhance property appearance and functionality Execute industrial cleaning procedures in warehouses or manufacturing areas following safety protocols Conduct routine facilities maintenance including light repairs, fixture replacements, and troubleshooting equipment issues Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, maintenance activities, and supply inventories to support operational efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction Prior experience with residential painting or industrial cleaning is highly desirable Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and equipment troubleshooting Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Join us in creating clean, safe spaces that foster productivity and comfort!
