About the Role
TGA of the Twin Cities is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Youth Golf Instructor to inspire the next generation of golfers in the southeast Metro! This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your love of golf with the rewarding experience of mentoring and teaching young players in a fun, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Instruct youth golfers in fundamental skills including grip, stance, swing mechanics, and course etiquette
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate golf lessons and curriculum for beginner to intermediate junior players
Supervise and manage groups of youth participants in a safe and positive learning environment
Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the game
Communicate progress and feedback to parents and program coordinators
Set up and break down equipment and instructional materials before and after sessions
Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth participants
Requirements
Experience playing golf with a solid understanding of the game's fundamentals
Prior experience working with children or youth in a teaching, coaching, or mentoring capacity
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for youth development
Must be available weekdays between 2:00-8:00pm for afterschool and evening classes
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Reliable transportation to program locations in the Farmington, Cottage Grove and Lakeville, MN area
