Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive event marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of events including weddings, corporate functions, banquets, and community gatherings.
Coordinate with clients to understand their needs, negotiate contracts, and ensure all event details align with their vision.
Manage vendor relationships for catering, entertainment, décor, and other event services; negotiate contracts to secure the best terms.
Lead the team in delivering exceptional guest services by supervising staff, ensuring timely setup and breakdown of events, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Oversee budgeting for events, monitor expenses, and optimize revenue through upselling additional services or packages.
Promote the venue through targeted marketing efforts such as social media campaigns, partnerships with local organizations, and event promotion initiatives.
Requirements
Proven experience in event management within hospitality settings such as restaurants, hotels, or banquet facilities.
Strong skills in negotiation, contract management, and vendor relations.
Excellent marketing abilities with a focus on event promotion and client engagement.
Exceptional customer service skills combined with outstanding communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
Knowledge of banquet operations, catering processes, and hotel or restaurant workflows is highly desirable.

Pay: $45,622.29 - $54,942.98 per year
