About the Resort
This premier golf resort in Southern Texas is home to the #1 golf course in Texas. The property includes 138 hotel rooms, 7 houses, and 101 RV sites, and welcomes country club golf enthusiasts, families, school groups, and corporate guests year-round. Fall through spring is our peak season, and the resort sells out every major holiday. Guests travel from across the country to visit us — many arriving via our private jet charter service — and a guest-first culture is at the heart of everything we do.
Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Director to lead all F&B operations across the resort's dining outlets, including Candelilla Café, Thirsty Goat Cocktail Bar, Boardwalk Bakery, and our on-site Pizzeria (with a new employee dining location currently in development). This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to a tenured management team, with the opportunity to shape the guest dining experience at one of Texas's premier golf destinations.
Compensation & Perks
As Food & Beverage Director, your compensation and perks include:
Salary: $100,000–$125,000/year, based on experience
On-site housing: 3-bedroom 2 bath
50% of utilities covered
$80/month cable allowance
$1,500 relocation reimbursement (no repayment required)

What You'll Do
As the Food & Beverage Director, you will:
Lead day-to-day F&B operations across multiple restaurants, bars, and bakery/pizzeria outlets
Build, train, and mentor a strong front-of-house and back-of-house team, fostering a guest-first culture throughout the department
Manage F&B budgets and control labor, food, and beverage costs while maintaining exceptional service standards
Partner with the culinary team on menu design, quality, and consistency across all outlets
Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control
Plan and execute weddings, premier events, and custom private functions, including advance menu planning for private jet groups
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards across all F&B areas
Monitor guest feedback and continuously refine service delivery
Stay current on F&B industry trends and bring fresh ideas to the department
What You Bring
The ideal Food & Beverage Director will bring:
Proven experience as an F&B Director or senior F&B leader
Strong track record managing food, beverage, and labor costs while delivering high service standards
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills; a patient, effective people manager
Highly organized, detail-oriented, outgoing, and guest-focused
Experience in a resort, club, or golf operation highly desirable
A love of golf is a plus
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during our fall–spring peak season
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
