Sawgrass CC is currently seeking an IT Support Technician.
This position is on-site Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm.
Job Functions:
Identify, log, and resolve technical problems with software applications and computer hardware.
To set up and manage user accounts and permissions to consent access to a network
Upholding and testing security, blocking unapproved access to the network, company assets, and facilities
Update and maintain computer inventory and equipment
Maintain and resolve issues on LAN, VoIP telephone, AV systems connections
Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software
Endorse and apply upgrades to systems to ensure durability
Assess functional needs to regulate system purchase specifications
Resolve hardware and network connectivity issues
Validateapprove VPN access for all remote users
Assist in technical upgrading and maintenance of entire desktop systems
Support in testing and deployment of new applications and systems
Train and guide staff in acceptable hardware and software usage
Operate the sound system and video equipment to conduct digital and in-person meetings, live-stream and/or recorded meetings, business conferences, miscellaneous events
Set and strike Audio-Visual equipment, mix soundboards, setup and monitor single and multi-room projection, and web streaming services
Maintain Inventory of Audio-Visual Equipment
Identify, log, and resolve technical problems with software applications and computer hardware.
Understands the technical aspects of the job and demonstrates basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues
Handles equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner

Job Qualifications and Requirements:
3 years of related hands-on work experience or technical training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products
Enthusiastic about technology and willing to learn and stay on the cutting edge
