<p><strong>About the Philadelphia PGA Section</strong></p>
<p>Established in 1921, the Philadelphia PGA Section is one of the PGA of America’s 41 geographical Sections. Each Section serves as the managing entity for their designated regions. The Philadelphia PGA Section encompasses eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Delaware, and northeastern Maryland. The Section serves over 900 PGA Members and Associates who are employed at over 300 golf facilities in our region. The Section works to promote enjoyment and involvement in the game of golf and to contribute to the game’s growth by providing services to golf professionals and the industry.</p>
<p>The Section has a small dynamic team that manages and operates three core businesses: the Philadelphia PGA Section, Philadelphia PGA Junior Tour, and our charitable foundation, PGA REACH Philadelphia. Within these businesses, we serve over 2,000 members and operate over 200 events each season. <br /><br /></p>
<p><strong>Employment Description</strong></p>
<p>The Operations Manager will assist the Director of Operations in executing the Communications and Membership Departments, and will assist with overall team management. Tasks include, but are not limited to: </p>
<ul>
<li>Communications</li>
<ul>
<li>Website management for all three brands (WordPress)</li>
<li>Content creation for all three brands (press releases, emails, newsletters, videos, still photography, marketing collateral, signage, print and electronic publications, graphics, etc.)</li>
<li>Social media management for all three brands</li>
<li>Partner communications </li>
<li>Event management (education seminars, webinars, networking events, golf tournaments, etc.)</li>
<li>Digital analytics management <br /><br /></li>
</ul>
<li> Membership</li>
<ul>
<li>Assign Professional Development Requirement (PDR) credits</li>
<li>Assist with PGA of America Golf Professional requests, change forms, etc.</li>
<li>Assist with annual applications (awards, Hall of Fame, Playing Legends, scholarships, etc.)</li>
<li>Assist with organization of PGA Member committees and Central Counties Chapter management </li>
<li>Membership reporting <br /><br /></li>
</ul>
<li>Partnerships</li>
<ul>
<li>Act as onsite liaison for partners at company events</li>
<li>Help with various partner activations </li>
<li>Assist with partner requests </li>
</ul>

<li>Assist with the administration of the Section office and related activities</li>
<li>Assist in the development and implementation of the Section business plan.<br /><br /></li>

<p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The Operations Manager should be detail-oriented and demonstrate skills in organizing, multitasking, and establishing priority work flow under tight deadline pressures.<br /><br /></li>

<p><strong>Physical Conditions </strong></p>
